Planning

Following the completion of relevant site assessments, an Environment Effects Statement (EES) Referral is prepared and lodged with the Minister for Planning who will then determine whether an EES is required as part of the planning permit application process.

Following completion of all impact assessment studies and extensive consultation with the local community and other stakeholders, an EES or Planning Permit Application will be finalised and lodged with the Minister for Planning.

The planning process provides members of the community with the opportunity to make formal submissions regarding the proposed development during the public notification period.
